Flakes, Flowers, and Photo Adventures: February 2025
From snowstorms to show floors, rabbit holes, and winter’s wild weather.
FEBRUARY IN REVIEW
Howdy everyone, I hope you have all been doing well.
February started off as a busy month. The first half of February was primarily spent working on the newsletter, either writing or setting up the backend. I’ve discovered that there is a lot of behind the scenes work involved with the creation of a newsletter.
Unfortunately, February ushered in a flare-up in my chronic pain. This meant I was not able to get out much at all this month. In spite of this, I tried my best to make the most of the situation.
This month I ended up going out to take some images during one of Ontario’s largest snowfalls. You can read about the experience in my article, “Snow Storms and Snapshots.”
I also had the privilege to attend a floral display called “Alice in Bloomland,” where my local botanical garden featured various displays themed around the story of Alice in Wonderland. You can read about that here.
I am also very happy to announce that I had six photos selected to be exhibited this year at Halton Hills PhotoArt 2025!

February also took me to the Outdoor Adventure Show. Keep your eyes out for an article about it in the next few days!
Until next month!
-Greg
